BMW diagnostic fault-code descriptions

The App embeds a catalogue of diagnostic trouble code (DTC) descriptions for BMW and MINI vehicles, in German, English, Turkish and Spanish. This is what allows the App to show a plain-language description next to each fault code it reads, instead of a bare hexadecimal number. The same applies to the freeze-frame tables that name the sensor values stored alongside a fault.

This material originates from BMW diagnostic data and is reproduced substantially as published — it was not written for this App. It is included so that fault codes are intelligible to independent technicians. The developer claims no copyright in this material, and no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from BMW AG is claimed or implied.
